Russia and the ICRC are closely working together on the humanitarian aspects of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. We highly value the input of the ICRC in these efforts.
On instructions by President of the Russian Federation Mr.Vladimir Putin a voluntary contribution of two million Swiss francs was made in response to the Budgetary Extension Appeal of the ICRC in relation to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. In accordance with the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation No.3209-R dated 4 December 2020 the contribution will be used to cover expenditures on the ICRC᾽s operations addressing humanitarian consequences of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Russia and the ICRC will continue to enhance their partnership in the humanitarian field.
