Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador's G.Gatilov remarks to the conference "Syrian humanitarian file: eyewitness reports"
I thank the speaker for a detailed presentation on the activities of the White Helmets.
I would like to emphasize that Maxim Grigoriev does not work for the Russian government, but rather represents Russian civil society The Study of Democracy Foundation - a non-state non-profit institution managed by our speaker has done a great job in unearthing the provocative and criminal activities of the pseudo-humanitarian White Helmets. The footage of interviews with members of this notorious organization, as well as with militants, I think unequivocally shows the true essence of these so-called “humanitarian workers”.
It's no accident that Western countries, as far as we know, have not yet fulfilled their promises to promptly resettle on their territory all the White Helmets evacuated from Syria. There are still dozens of members of this organization residing in Jordan with no definite future in sight. Apparently, the West is simply afraid (and this is, in our opinion, absolutely justified) to let into their countries those who have been involved in serious crimes or have interacted with terrorists.
