About Fourth P5 Conference
The Fourth P5 Conference will take place In Geneva on April 18-19, 2013 in the wake of the 2009 London, 2011 Paris and 2012 Washington P5 conferences. The Conference will be conducted under the chairmanship of the Russian Federation.
The Conference will review a wide range of issues concerning the strengthening of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) regime on the basis of all its three pillars – the non-proliferation, the peaceful uses of nuclear energy and disarmament. Special attention will be given to the implementation of the decisions taken at the previous NPT Review Conferences as well to contributing to the present review cycle.
The Russian delegation will be headed by Ambassador-at-large G.V.Berdennikov.
